Unless otherwise instructed, job applications/ resumes must be received by 4:00pm on the closing date listed in the job posting. Job applications/ resumes may be received between regular business hours, Monday through Friday (except statutory holidays), by one of four ways:
- by email to the contact name listed in the job posting;
- in person at the Municipal Office at #1 Opal Drive, Logan Lake;
- by postal service addressed to the contact name listed in the job posting , at District of Logan Lake, Box 190, Logan Lake, BC V0K 1W0; or
- by fax to the Municipal Office at 250-523-6678.
Short Listing and Interviews
District staff reviews all applications and materials submitted to determine if the minimum qualifications and/or special requirements stated in the job posting are met. Staff then ‘short lists’ and arranges interviews within three weeks of the closing of the job posting. Typically, a minimum of three candidates will be interviewed. Applicants not making the ‘short list’ will not be contacted. While our objective is to hire the best person for the job and the hiring process tends to be very intensive and comprehensive, even for casual positions, if you are not successful in getting the position applied for, please do not be discouraged and try again for future job postings.
