Logan Lake is at the heart of a series of world-class trout fishing lakes and, because of the efforts that provide a wide range of fishing opportunities. Logan Lake itself thanks to efforts made by the community is a great place to catch large fish consistently. The lake is a small one at twelve hectares, but because of two aerators, a spawning channel, stocking activities and plentiful food, it supports a large population of trout. Five pound trout are a regular catch in Logan Lake, with some getting as big as ten pounds. The quota for trout in Logan Lake is two and only electric motors are permitted. Logan Lake has good opportunity for fly fishermen and women with two docks; one on the southwest side of the lake where the town in located the other on the northeast side of the lake at the campground.

If you’re looking for variety, there are more than a dozen fishable lakes within half an hour of Logan Lake, some with challenging four-by-four or hiking access only while others are easily accessible like Logan Lake. There are numerous fishing lodges in the area that can provide accommodations, boat rentals and tips on fishing locations and conditions.
