Heat Safety

Higher than normal temperatures are expected in the coming days. Stay current with heat forecasts and take steps to keep yourself and loved ones safe.

✅Stay hydrated and limit physical activity during the hottest parts of the day.

✅Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.

✅Protect yourself from the sun by wearing sunscreen and appropriate clothing.

✅Seek cooler, breezier areas while outdoors.

✅Monitor yourself and loved ones for heat illness (signs include dizziness, nausea and/or rapid breathing/fast heart rate).
