Heat Safety

Higher than normal temperatures are expected in the coming days. Stay current with heat forecasts and take steps to keep yourself and loved ones safe.

Stay hydrated and limit physical activity during the hottest parts of the day.

Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.

Protect yourself from the sun by wearing sunscreen and appropriate clothing.

Seek cooler, breezier areas while outdoors.

Monitor yourself and loved ones for heat illness (signs include dizziness, nausea and/or rapid breathing/fast heart rate).
