Ski Trails are Currently Closed

The Ski trails are currently closed due to safety concerns relating to the summer wildfires. The decision to reopen the ski trails in the wildfire affected area is up to Recreation Sites and Trails BC.

Ski the dry snow and open spaces around Logan Lake and experience a cross-country skier’s dream. Logan Lake’s 36km. cross-country ski trail system is one of the best in the province. Groomed trails begin right in the community and extend out along the original 14 foot-wide logging roads into the surrounding wilderness. The terrain varies widely and offers something for everyone. Beginners will be delighted with the 2km. of lit trails for night skiing, and even advanced skiers can enjoy adrenalin-spiking challenges. In winter this trail system is shared with snowshoers. The snowshoeing trail loops along the crosscountry skiing trails and joins them in some places. Both snowshoeing and beginner’s trails are pet friendly. Challenge yourself to new adventures this year as you ski freshly created trails and enjoy widened routes. Try snow camping – just come well equipped for the cold. You will discover new lean-tos, campsites and outhouses along the familiar routes. Whichever sport you choose, whichever trail you follow, you will meet happy people and happy dogs, see spectacular scenery, spot local wildlife and enjoy fabulous snow conditions.
