Annie Logan Scholarship

The Annie Logan Scholarship Fund in the amount of $1,000 is available for application for a student graduating from the District of Logan Lake. The recipient must be a grade 12 graduate who is interested in pursuing a post-secondary education.

The District will look at applicants who:

  • Will attend a full-time institution within two years of the date of graduation from high school;
  • Academic Achievement;
  • Citizenship and Service to the Community.

Applications for this scholarship should be made in writing and should include:

  • Copies of Grade 11 final marks and report card marks received thus far in Grade 12;
  • A description of extra-curricular, community, or volunteer activities in which the student has participated;
  • A summary of past/current employment, if any;
  • A summary of goals and plans for post-secondary education;
  • Applications must be delivered to the Municipal Office by May 1st in a sealed envelope marked “Scholarship Application”.

Scholarship Determination:

All Scholarship Applications will be forwarded to the Executive, Policy and Relationship Building Committee for determining the successful applicant.
